Sally can’t wait as trade bosses abandon Southport

A popular salon and hair product trader has shut its doors after more than a decade on Lord Street.

Sally’s has abandoned the town after its rental lease expired and bosses refused to pay increasingly high rents from the landlord.

It was a case of Sally Can’t Wait and disappointed trade customers in the town centre will now have to travel to Liverpool or Preston if they want to get supplies.

The loss of Sally’s is a huge blow to the town given its high number of hair dressers and salons.
The shop was also popular with regular high street customers as well.

The empty unit is now expected to lie empty until the landlord reduces their high rents.
