11th October 2020

Three staff from the popular Rueter’s Bar and Restaurant in Southport have been warned they may have come into contact with someone who has the deadly coronavirus.

As a result owner Sinclair has said he is faking no chances and has closed the restaurant so his staff can self isolate properly.

He said “Unfortunately 3 of our team have received a notification through the mobile Covid-19 NHS App that they may have been in contact with someone who later went on to test positive for Coronavirus and should self isolate.

“It is important to note that no team members are feeling unwell or displaying any symptoms.
The safety of our team and guests are our highest priority and as such we are sadly going to have to close temporarily.

“We would like to thank you for your loyal support during this difficult time and look forward to welcoming you back in a few weeks.”
