Police have rushed to the scene of a potentially serious smash on Fleetwood Road this afternoon after a car spun out of control in a 20mph zone.
The silver saloon smashed and spun out of control near to a children’s playground before Stanley High School.
Nobody is thought to have been seriously injured in the accident and an investigation is ongoing.
