RESULT| Southport 1-3 Altrincham
Southport suffered another defeat going down 1-3 at home to Altrincham at, Tuesday 8 August 2018.
After a goalless first half Lewis Goulding scored for Altincham after 50 minutes. Richard levelled it for Southport seven minutes later, but port conceded two more soft goals goals.
