Red Arrows will NOT perfom at 2019 Air Show
In 2019 the three-day event will go back to its original date at Southport Beach on Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8.
The official Southport Air Show Facebook page broke the news that they will not be returning for 2019, a statement read:
“We can confirm the RAF Red Arrows will be away next summer on their largest ever tour of North America, so sadly won’t be part of the Air Show line-up.
“Like many other air shows we are disappointed and hope that the Royal Air Force will allocate us some good assets to keep our fans excited.
“We we aware that this could happen and will continue to look at booking some great displays as well as continuing to grow our Friday Night Flying.”
