Readers of OTS News have sent in footage of huge rats they describe as being ‘the size of cats’ running across a Southport car park.
The huge rodents were caught on camera running across the Ocean Plaza car park after dark a few nights ago.
The reader who sent the footage to OTS says something needs to be done as it is quickly becoming a big issue.
The rodent on film was seen eating scraps from the nearby McDonalds fast food outlet on Marine Drive.
They added “With children and families going to the cinema or Nando’s for their dinner this isn’t a nice sight to see at all.
“Someone should do something about it. It’s going to become a big problem if they’re not careful. The rats are huge and feeding off the scraps people throw out from McDonalds.”
