Two men posing as scrap metal merchants have stolen expensive power tools from a property in Ainsdale.
The brazen thieves, who got themselves caught on camera, rang a video doorbell moments before the theft ensuring their identities were captured.
Joiner Builder Joseph Langton who was working at the property at the time says the duo entered the residential property in Ainsdale.
Once inside they made off with a ‘bag full of power tools’
The incident happened around 11am on Tuesday morning.
Police have been informed.
