Police scientific support, Dodworth Avenue (10am)

Merseyside Police are investigating a burglary in Southport today (Monday, 21 September).
Officers were called to an address in Dodworth Avenue at around 5.15am, to a report that offenders had gained entry through an insecure back door and taken a Playstation 4 games console.
An investigation has been launched and enquiries are on-going into this incident. House to house enquiries are being carried out and CCTV opportunities are being explored. Crime scene investigators have also examined the scene (below).
Detectives would urge anyone who has any information about this incident to contact 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
