Detectives are appealing to uncover the identity of three boys in connection with the destruction of a football dugout.
More than £2000 of damage was caused to the sports pitch on Carr Lane in Tarleton last week.
Police now say they want to speak to three boys caught on nearby CCTV in connection to the incident.
Reports suggest the trio are well known in the Hesketh Bank and Southport areas.
Police said “We now want to speak to the 3 people in the CCTV image regarding the damage. It happened at around 1630 hrs on Wednesday 28 September.
Approximately £2000 worth of damage was caused.
“We believe the 3 people in the CCTV image could have information which will help our enquiries.
