Police appeal after 83 year old woman attacked in broad daylight 

Were you in the Burscough area yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 3 January 2016), near to Tesco and The Grove Community Centre? At approximately 2:30 PM, an incident occured on The Grove Community Centre Car Park which involved a violent attempted robbery on an 83 year old female.

Although she managed to keep hold of her handbag, she has fallen in the process and has sustained injuries.
