One of Southport PCSO’s was out on patrol in Hesketh Park yesterday, and a map of 8 miles of his patrol area, starting and finishing at Southport Police Station.
The force commented: “Yesterday people seemed to be following the social distancing rules well, but today, the good weather is seeing more people in the parks like any other spring day.”
”Our Officers will be speaking to people (from a safe distance) and encouraging people to go home.
Please, unless your journey is essential, stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives.”
