Parking wardens prowl Birkdale village for chance fines

Birkdale Village shoppers are being warned of parking wardens on the prowl in the village.

Two cars have already been stamped with red parking fines outside the Spar supermarket on Liverpool Road.

Shoppers were only in the supermarket for a few minutes before they returned to their cars to find the fines.

They are now warning others to be on their guard and try to avoid the parking wardens
