Ocean plaza bosses risk fairground turf war

Ocean Plaza bosses are in hot water after setting up a travelling fairground on their land.

The fair which popped up overnight on the weekend is meant to rival the increasingly popular Southport Pleasureland.

Norman Wallis, who puts hundreds of thousands of pounds into the Southport economy says he is shocked that anything like this could have been given the go ahead.

OTS understands the move to put up a travelling fairground is the brainchild of the new Ocean Plaza management structure.
