Nine one-bed and two-be apartments set for Coronation Walk

PART of the building that houses a Turkish Restaurant in Southport could be turned into nine new one-bed and two-bed apartments.

A planning application has been submitted to change the use of part of the first and second floors of the Coronation Walk building into five apartments as well as dormer extensions and alterations to the roof, including raising the height, to create a further four apartments.

As the neglected building had already begun to fail in areas including the roof, threatening the future of the business below and current use of the first floor for accommodation, remedial works had to be started prior to the application being granted.
