A mystery ‘sea monster’ has been found washed up on Ainsdale beach.
A Southport man riding his quad along the stretch of sand between Ainsdale and Birkdale came across the decaying carcass of what he describes as a ‘sea monster’ The bloated carcass has been partially identified as possibly belonging to either a seal or a dolphin.
However marine biologists have yet to formally identify the carcass as either, leading to wild speculation that it could be an As yet unidentified monster
