A Southport mum has slammed Asda at Central 12 for delivering what she claims to be out of date and stale meat.

Lisa O’hare posted a picture of the green ham which she says she was given as part of an ASDA home delivery shop today.

She said “not only is the well by date in a couple of days the smell is something I can’t describe and it’s not edible. I’m in the process of checking all my meat I purchased from Asda yesterday and to say I’m angry is an understanding.

My son likes to make food for himself and if he had eaten this we would have been in hospital by now.”
