The emergency services were called to Roe Lane, Southport this evening, Friday 1 December.
Witnesses at the scene told our reporter that the rider was travelling along Roe Lane at around 6pm before crashing into car turning out of Hesketh Drive.
The rider was on flat-out for a few minutes before standing up.
Witnesses and other motorists stopped at the scene before police and paramedics arrived.
