A wanted man who was causing a massive disturbance on Nevill Street has finally been apprehended by police, Wednesday 27 December.
The male who spoke with a strong scouse accent was arrested by officers after causing a disturbance at a Nevill Street chipshop.
Eye witnesses say he pulled what many feared was a knife outside a rock shop before officers tackled him to the ground.
The male in his late thirties has been taken to Copy Lane Police station for questioning.
