A Southport man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary on Forest Road (Tuesday 3 October 2017).
At around 10:30pm Merseyside police received a call following a disturbance.
Officers detained a 34-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of attempted burglary.
A second man in his 20’s was taken to Southport hospital with a head injury sustained in an altercation with the alleged burglar.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101, quoting log 1122 of 3 October.
