Neighbourhood officers based at Southport Police Station arrested a 38 year old man in Southport last night, Thursday 24th March, after pursuing a vehicle in the Portland Street area.
The man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and possession with intent to supply class ‘A’ drugs.
This follows the arrest of two more Southport men aged 39 and 45 on Sunday 20th March, by Southport Neighbourhood officers, on suspicion of possession to supply class ‘A’ drugs, with one also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving while unfit due to drugs.
Further details will follow when charging decisions have been made.
