Man, 28, wanted in connection with incidents in Skelmersdale and Manchester

We are appealing for help locating a man from Upholland who is wanted in connection with a robbery, an assault and a burglary.

Craig William Shelley, 28, is wanted after a man was punched to the head and face and had his car keys stolen during an incident which occurred on December 26th 2016 on Ormskirk Road, Upholland.

He is also wanted in connection with an assault on November 20th 2016, when a woman received bites to her neck, as well as a burglary on the same date. Both occurred in the Greater Manchester area.

He is also wanted on recall to prison.

Shelley has links to Skelmersdale and Orrell in Greater Manchester.

A spokesman for Skelmersdale Police said: “We are making enquiries to find Craig Shelley and would urge anyone who has seen him, or knows of his whereabouts, to contact us. We would also urge Mr Shelley, if he sees this appeal, to contact us as soon as possible and make arrangements to hand himself in.”

Shelley is described as white, around 5ft 9ins tall, with blue eyes and of medium build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or email 4118@lancashire.pnn.police.uk, quoting log number 822 of December 26th 2016.

Alternatively independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
