A Southport man was viciously assaulted last night while enjoying a night out with friends.
OTS News understands emergency services were called to a Birkdale bar and club just after midnight after a male in his early twenties was viciously assaulted and left with severe cuts to the face after being glassed, witnesses say.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at Birkers bar and gave first aid to the male before he was taken to hospital for further medical attention.
It’s currently unknown if any arrests were made in connection to the incident.
