Emergency services have closed Scarisbrick New Road in Southport following an accident.
The incident is thought to have happened near to Ash Street junction.
Police, fire and ambulance units are on scene and traffic is being diverted via side roads.
Police and fire crews were called just before 2.30pm this afternoon to the busy junction.
Multiple paramedics were also called including emergency first responders.
The condition of those involved is not thought to be serious.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area while the incident is cleared.
