Letter to the editor: Please target speedsters in Ainsdale village

It was good to read about how Merseyside police arrested 250 people for drink and drug driving offences during a summer crackdown.

Thank you Chief Inspector Diane Pown- all for highlighting these serious offences with serious consequences.

May I suggest a targeted campaign on the 20mph area leading up to and through Ainsdale village?
