Kids Planet Southport have received Outstanding by Ofsted!

We are pleased to announce that our Kids Planet Southport nursery has achieved ‘Outstanding in All Areas’ Ofsted inspection in June 2017.

Clare Roberts, Chief Executive of Kids Planet Group said “I am thrilled that our Southport nursery has achieved outstanding by Ofsted. Sue and her team have worked very hard, with their passion and commitment, they ensure all the children receive the very best childcare possible.

To date, we have 19 nurseries and have achieved 13 outstanding rating by Ofsted at Southport, Salford, Higher Broughton, Beamont (Warrington), Crewe, Widnes, Lymm, Prestwich, Sale, Hale, Warrington, Springhead and Dukinfield. Our remaining 6 nurseries are still awaiting inspection.”

The nursery, formerly known as Yarrow House Day Nursery, was established in 1962 and was a former church. The nursery is located close to Southport town center and has large open plan rooms with outdoor areas which caters for outdoor play in all weather in line with the EYFS.

Our Southport nursery was acquired in 2015 and is open between 08:00-18:00 Monday-Friday and only closed on bank holidays.  Within Kids Planet our fully qualified and carefully selected staff are friendly, approachable, caring and actively work to preserve the magic of childhood.
