Hunt for hammer-wielding pair who robbed two teens in Hesketh Park

6th June 2020

Tonight (Friday 5 June) in Hesketh Park, my brother and his friend were approached by 2 young lads. All in black, caps with their face covered. They each got hammers out from their pants and threatened to rob the bike. They got off with the bike in the picture, and told my brother and his friend to drop their phones… so they did and smashed them both u in front of them. Probably knowing they would call the police.

The fact there’s two young lads are walking round with something like that, your parents must so proud of you.

My brother said they could be in there early 20’s.
Both had a scouse accent- could have been put on.

Absolute cowards! Makes me sick to the stomach. Both replaceable, they’re both ok. But I’ll make sure this bike is returned.

Trek Remedy bike, black and blue.
