It was a case of lights on and lights out at the Prince of Wales last week for a packed out charity boxing bonanza.
Organised by local sporting legend Jon Lund, Max Henshaw Jr and Michael Settle, the Lights Out boxing show, the first of three shows this year, raised an incredible £1,100 for the Isla Rose foundation.
Jon said “We had a packed out tickets only show at the Prince of Wales just before Christmas on the 21st.
“The ‘lights out’ boxing show put on by new MJM promotions sponsored by M W Henshaw will be putting 3 shows on per year.
“£1090 was raised for the local charity the Isla Rose foundation with help from local DJ Baz Todd.
“Next show which once again will be tickets only is on Easter Sunday 12th April.
“A lot of local talent was on display including returning ex pro Scott Moonan.”
