Happy Lancashire Day – Tuesday 27 November

The Friends of Real Lancashire would like to wish all LANCASTRIANS a very happy LANCASHIRE DAY, November 27.

On this day in 1295 the first elected representatives from Lancashire were called to Westminster by King Edward 1 to attend what later became known as “The Model Parliament”.

The Lancashire Day Proclamation will be read out by Town Criers throughout the county from the River Duddon in the north to the River Mersey in the south to rouse regional pride and at 9-00pm all Lancastrians are invited to join in the loyal toast to The Queen,The Duke of Lancaster.
