Gang of youths attack man and woman in KFC Southport

A Southport resident has warned anyone going into KFC on Eastbank Street, Southport to be vigilant after he and his girlfriend was attacked by 10-12 youths on New Years day.

The resident who wishes to remain anonymous said: “The incident took place at around 9.20pm, I was left left lots of bumps and bruises. Between 10-12 youths attacked us both for no reason”

“We are lucky it wasn’t worse, I just want to warn people to be extra vigilant if you planning to use the restaurant as we had a lucky escape.”

The incident was reported to Merseyside police.
