Flannels workers over 60 sent home to combat virus outbreak

By On The Spot News16th March 2020

Staff over 60 at a high end fashion store have said they are overwhelmed at the support they have been given since the Coronavirus outbreak.

James Bowe is one of a number of staff over the age of 60 at Flannels super fashion chain, which has a site on Tulketh Street who have been told they are allowed to self isolate and won’t need to attend work while still getting full pay

It’s one of a number of moves by Flannels bosses to protect their staff from the Coronavirus outbreak.

James said “just been told don’t go into work at Flannels until further notice as I’m over 60. They will pay me.

“So thank you to Flannels for looking after your staff. Keep safe everyone.”
