IT Support Field Engineer

We are looking to recruit an experienced IT & Telecoms Field Engineer to join the MCS team, although this opportunity will involve working at customer premises throughout the Merseyside Area. The MCS Group head office is located in Burscough and you will be traveling across the entire North West region. The ideal candidate will conduct themselves in a professional manner and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be part of a committed IT Services company providing high quality IT & Telecom services. The aim is to provide the level of support a business would expect to receive from an internal IT team.

You must have proven experience in delivering high quality service and support in the following areas:

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware/software problems, analysing customer requirements and recommending professional IT and/or Telecom solutions.
  • Maintenance and support of Microsoft Windows Servers, Windows Desktops, Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory, Office 365, Telephone Systems.
  • Installing, supporting and resolving issues with Windows Server networks, telephone networks, PCs, Printers, Anti-Virus Software, Backup Devices, Switches and Routers.

The successful candidate will also display the following qualities:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, customer focused and commercially aware.
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
