Lord Street has reopened between Nevilll Street and Bold Street this morning after emergency services attended to a road traffic accident.
Staff from Merseyside Police, North West Ambulance Services and Merseyside Fire and Rescue were on scene from approximately 8:45 this morning (18 March).
A damaged Volkswagen Golf has been recovered from the area with debris visible all across the road.
The circumstances of the incident and the condition of those involved remains unknown. Officers were seen speaking to witnesses at the roadside.
