DAVE SPIKEY FAVOURITE PLUS NORTH WEST COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR AND CHILD PRODIGY ALL ONE BILL AT THE ATKINSON’S LOL COMEDY CLUB

Dave Twentyman is upbeat, cheery, down to earth, friendly, warm, quick on his feet…just some words that have been used to describe one of the most naturally funny comics on the UK comedy circuit, today.  He’s an affable, quick-witted banter merchant who somehow survived a childhood in St Helens by evolving rapid, startlingly-bright patter and a smile that he somehow stole from Barry Manilow. With jokes and tales that you can’t help but relate to, he endears himself to even the rowdiest of audiences with ease and quite rightly is in hot demand at the biggest comedy clubs in the UK and overseas. He’s also performed at a number of music festivals over the years such as Leeds, V Festival, Download, etc. Its no wonder then that Dave is one of few modern comedians now also proudly features on the Blackpool Comedy Carpet (www.comedycarpet.com) a relatively new tourist attraction featuring the names of comedy greats from past and present and a huge honour for any comic.

“Thoroughly impressed, best I’ve seen in ages” – Dave Spikey

“Brilliant” – John Bishop

“Really like his stuff” – Jason Manford

It’s fair to say that everything Vince Atta touches turns to gold. His high-octane performances, stunning delivery & flawless array of impressions leave you short of breath. With a broad, wonderful spectrum of material ranging from students, Spanish horses in a kitchen, psychotic London ex-girlfriends, pointless racial pride & the advantages of an alcoholic mother, Atta brings an inspiring touch of pathos which demonstrates an unerring ability to turn experience into bullet proof comedy. He’s a multi-award winning comic including the much-coveted ‘City Life Comedian Of The Year’ Award following in the footsteps of Peter Kay, Caroline Aherne, & Jason Manford and so we’re delighted he’s agreed to come and play for us.

“An unstoppable force, a brilliant rapport” Chortle

Tom Lucy is something of a unique child prodigy. He’s the youngest comedian ever to play professionally at the Comedy Store in London and at just eighteen years old is one of the youngest comedians working professionally on the UK circuit. Having first tried stand up at the age of sixteen, he now performs regularly for some of the country’s top comedy clubs and in the last six months, he has supported the likes of Jack Whitehall and Harry Hill on tour. Catch this natural talent while you can.

“Outstanding young comic and one to watch. Headed for great things!” Harry Hill
