Damien Moore MP and his fellow Conservatives have voted for hugely unpopular cuts to free school meals, which apparently means that at least 24,000 children in Merseyside are now set to miss out.

Alongside their DUP counterparts, MPs from the Tory Party agreed far-reaching changes to rules set around free school meals under Universal Credit benefit.
However, a highly vocal lawyer, Peter Stefanovic, had a sneering message for the Tories who voted to cut free school meals…

The Tory Party has been instrumental in ensuring that hard-pressed childcare facilities across the UK have been closing in droves, due to flawed and morally-bankrupt government policies.
Long-established nurseries and preschools have been forced to close their doors, thanks to heartless Conservative actions.

Mr Moore’s pleasant grins may impress some folk in the community yet they do NOT cut the mustard when we bother to examine the hard facts behind the childcare crisis in the UK today.
Parents, childcare providers, small businesses and the children themselves deserve much better than this.
