Customers in a spin as Vinyl bar opens

A new vinyl themed bar has opened in Southport building on the success of similar boozers in the town.

The Vinyl Hideout Bar at 1 Hoghton Place (off Hoghton Street), Southport opened this week and owner Rick Lamb says he can’t wait to get the tunes flowing.

Rick said: “We have just taken over the the old Bar formerly known as the Hideout. We are family run and offer a vast selection of 1980,s vinyl records for customers to search and choose their favourite tracks from and have the DJ play them.

“There is a traffic light party event planned for Saturday 9th December 5pm till midnight with a free shot with your first drink. Karaoke nights and jam night’s with local musicians are a few of many more future fun events.

“Customers can enjoy the atmosphere of the bar which serves untill midnight or relax on sofas in the upstairs lounge. The venue is also free to hire for private functions day and night.”
