Be Active is back this Easter half term with brand new sessions on offer for Sefton’s youngest residents.

New for Easter 2018, dance workshops inspired by hit film The Greatest Showman will entertain Sefton’s future performers while budding adventurers can take part in Active Explorers with sessions dedicated to bush-craft style activities.

The hugely successful Wave Rave pool parties are also set to make a return to pools in Bootle Leisure Centre, Dunes Splash World and Meadows Leisure Centre. Last half term the Wave Raves were a massive hit as everyone enjoyed coloured pools, floats, music and disco lights.

Designed with the Easter holidays in mind, Be Active’s Easter Egg-Stravaganza days will include obstacle courses, adventure games, tournaments, dodgeball and maybe even a bouncy castle!

The ever popular Everton Soccer School will be back along with Tennis Camp and Active Totz Gymnastics for Sefton’s sportiest youngsters. Those looking to try something new can make the most of the water sports on offer at Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre during its Lakeside Adventure sessions.

Cllr Ian Moncur, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, said: “There is such an array of activities happening across Sefton that our youngest residents will be spoilt for choice this half term.

“I’m delighted that we have such a diverse sporting offer that will help keep children active and entertained while they’re enjoying a break from school.”

Activities fill up fast so call Be Active on 0151 288 6286 or 0151 934 4799 to book. For the full line-up of activities head to www.sefton.gov.uk/BeActive.
