Classic Cars arrive in Southport ahead of tomorrows Land Speed Record Re-Enactment

Classic cars starting to arrive for the 90th anniversary of Sir Henry Segrave’s land speed record on Southport Beach tomorrow.

Several vehicles were parked outside the Ramada today.

Wednesday marks the 90th anniversary of Sir Henry Segrave’s land-speed record and is the heart of the Festival.

The Sunbeam Tiger will leave the Atkinson tomorrow morning and return to the same stretch of beach where it will re-enact the record attempt in full view of the public.
