Cash boost for Sandpipers respite centre

Friends of Sandpipers has been given a £250 cash boost from Southport Hesketh Round Table.

The local group were delighted to receive the fund- ing and gratefully accepted it from Dean Wilson.

Revitalise Sandpipers is located overlooking the Marine Lake and provides holiday res- pite for those with disabilities and carers.

Dean was also given a tour of the facility, together with the Friends group, who were joined by centre manager Katrine Schofield.

Chairman of the friends group, Brenda Porter, said: “As always, Southport Hesketh Round Table continues to sup- port local groups and communities with its mem- bers raising many thousands of pounds throughout the year.
