An ex-Liverpool FC striker and former Everton centre forward are holding signings in a Broadhurst’s bookshop.

David Fairclough, who scored 34 league goals in his 98 league appearances for Liverpool, will be in Broadhurst’s Bookshop, on Market Street, on November 7, 11am to 1pm.

Bob Latchford will be at the same place on November 14, 2.15pm to 3.15. While at Everton FC, Latchford played 236 times for The Toffees, scoring 138 goals.

Fairclough – whose goal against St Etienne to seal a famous European Cup win is written in LFC folklore – will be regaling fans from his new book Supersub.

While Latchford has put down his memories of a career that also included spells with Birmingham, Swansea and in Holland in a book, ‘Bob Latchford: A Different Road’, published by deCoubertin.
