Bog eyed kids jog for joy at Tarleton

18th November 2017

Fitness fanatic pupils from a Tarleton primary school have put their best feet forward for charity on their annual ‘Bog Eyed Jog’.

Children from Tarleton Holy Trinity CE Primary turned up early at the Church Road school in their pyjamas and jogged around the playground to raise funds for the school before having a well-earned breakfast and drink.

The annual event is organised by the school’s parent-teacher association, Friends.

Headteacher, Stephen Smith said: “The children came to school all bleary-eyed and still in their pyjamas for the annual Bog Eyed Jog! Each year, the school’s PTA organise the morning where the children are asked to come in their pyjamas and dressing gowns for the day, run around the playground a few times and then enjoy breakfast in school.
