An investigation is underway after at least two people died in a house fire in Southport.
Fire crews and emergency services were called to a block of flats on the promenade overnight after neighbours reported smelling smoke and fire alarms sounded at the Queen’s House apartment block near to Southport Theatre
The case of the fire is currently unknown but OTS understands that sadly at least two people died in the fire
An update is expected from Merseyside Fire & Rescue shortly.
