Birkdale Village butchers hit it off with GoggleBox stars

Birkdale Village has welcomed yet another celebrity admirer to its vast array of tasty treats after the ever tippled Dom from Channel 4s hit show GoggleBox was seen on Liverpool Road.

The star, who was visiting the village with his wife, was happy to pose for photos with admiring fans and readily commented on the beauty of Birkdale Village.

At one point Dom took in the delights of the popular Brough’s Butchers. He snapped up the chance of a famous Broughs Breakfast Box while he was there.

A spokesperson for the butcher’s shop said: “Great afternoon a visit from the one and only Dominic Parker from channel 4s goggle Box after buying some steak and fillet of pork for a menu they were cooking.

“We then got them to have a go at the art of sausage making.

“Great fun was had by all,hilarious,I’m sure they had a good time must say Dom did the best. What a great guy he’s just as you find him on GoggleBox!”
