Birkdale United u11 – Squad places available
Our aim is to provide an environment were kids can flourish, it’s their game after all. Results are very much secondary to our kids development. Having played up an age group last year we have now moved back to our own age group at u11 in the craven minor league. We currently have ten players registered so are looking for two more to add to our very small squad.
Over the past few seasons we have seen real progression in our team. We have received some nice feedback from various scouts and academy coaches on our approach to coaching and the kids style of play.
This resulted in us being invited into Burnley academy to take part in a tournament which included Burnley, Blackpool, Carlisle, and Bolton. Grassroots teams aren’t normally invited to take part in those in-house tournaments, but our boys did themselves proud, even coming away with a couple of victories. Over the past 12 months we have been regulars at Burnley FC to provide opposition for their very talented academy teams. The kids absolutely loved the experience and came away with lots of great memories.
We are very proud of our boys, they’re all lovely lads, very approachable and friendly. Any new player(s) would be very much welcomed. This is a great opportunity to join one of the most talented group of players in the league.
