Routes 15, 15A, 49 and X2 are affected.
Weld Road will be closed, between York Road and Birkdale station, from Monday 16 September 2019 for approximately 6 days.
Bus diversions are as follows:
Route 15 will travel as normal from Marshside to York Road, then via Trafalgar Road, Grosvenor Road, Burlington Road, then as normal route (omitting Liverpool Road and Crescent Road).
Route 15A will travel as normal from Birkdale to Burlington Road, then via Grosvenor Road, Trafalgar Road, York Road, then as normal route (omitting Liverpool Road and Crescent Road).
Route 49 will travel as normal from Woodvale to Liverpool Road, then via Crescent Road, Grosvenor Road, Trafalgar Road, York Road, Weld Road, then as normal route to Crossens (omitting a section of Liverpool Road). This service will return via the reverse of this route.
Route X2 will travel as normal from Ainsdale to Liverpool Road, then via Crescent Road, Grosvenor Road, Trafalgar Road, York Road, Weld Road, then as normal route to Southport (omitting a section of Liverpool Road). This service will return via the reverse of this route.
