Birkdale nurse warns of deadly virus coming to Southport

31st January 2020

Paranoid Southport residents are growing ever more fearful of the deadly coronavirus hitting the resort.

It comes after the Tory government announced they would be sending a plane load of British citizens to a quarantine facility at a nearby hospital.

Arrowe Park in the Wirral will house a number of orients while they are tested for the potential deadly virus which is already spreading across the world.

The killer viral infection has already been claiming lives in China but retired Nurse Michelle Fitton from Birkdale says she worries the virus could reach Southport She said “Why have the tories chosen to potentially send the virus to our doorstep?

It would take a matter of days for it to reach Southport if it escapes the quarantine zone in the Wirral.

“I would advise everybody to make sure they have the flu jab and have enough inoculations to make sure they’ve got enough strength to fight it off.

“Our elderly and those with breathing problems are most vulnerable.”

A global emergency has since been declared by the World Heath Organisation.
