Birkdale businesses are slowly getting back to normal as disruptive road works end in the village tomorrow.
Most shops are set to be fully open as normal and will return to normal trading hours from tomorrow after council workers promised they would have Liverpool Road back open and fully open to traffic by tomorrow afternoon.
Shop owners say they are delighted at the news and can’t wait to get back to serving their loyal customers.
