A horrendous sexual attack on a young boy has shocked Birkdale.
A 16 year old boy was reportedly pulled from his bike and chased by an unidentified Male who exposed his penis while shouting lewd remarks.
Police remain on scene near to the Crown Pub Taylors on Liverpool Road.
The incident happened shortly before 6.30pm this evening.
A man has been detained and has been taken to a nearby police station for questioning.
Three teenage boys are talking with officers and are being treated for shock after the incident.
It’s understood the assailant was drinking in the Crown Beer garden at the time.
Very aggressive drunken punters from Taylor’s started abusing our reporter calling him “A fuc*ing nonce and was going kill him. (Photo to follow).
