Ash Street closed as fire crews tackle blaze

Fire crews are currently tackling a fire in Ash Street this evening, Friday 14 December.

Witnesses at the scene told our reporter “The blaze fire startrd in the outbuildings at around 7pm.”

Fire crews are still on scene.

The road remains closed in both directions.

An update from Merseyside Fire and Reascue is expected shortly.
