ANNOUNCEMENT | Everton Ladies Are In Town!

Southport Football Club are extremely delighted to announce that Everton Ladies will also use the Merseyrail Community Stadium for the first-half of the new 2018/19 season.

The Blue Girls, who kick off their FA Women’s Super League 1 campaign with a trip to Birmingham City on Sunday, will play at the home of Southport FC – which is also used by Everton Under-23s – for the first time against Reading Ladies for the Continental Cup fixture on September 16, kick-off 2pm.

Nine of the Toffees’ home fixtures are currently confirmed to be hosted at Southport, listed below. Each game will be catered towards a family friendly atmosphere and with admission prices kept low it gives everyone in the surrounding area the opportunity to witness top level professional football at affordable prices.

The confirmed fixture list is as follows:

  • Sunday 18 November – 2pm KO | Arsenal | FA WSL
  • Sunday 2 December – 2pm KO | Liverpool | FA WSL
  • Sunday 9 December – 2pm KO | Bristol City | FA WSL
  • Thursday 13 December – 7pm KO | Manchester United | Conti Cup Group Stage

The club will be operating cashless turnstiles for the fixtures, so those wishing to attend the games will have to visit the Club Shop on Haig Avenue for a ticket beforehand or canorder online through the clubs ticket portal to save time.

Admission prices for the games are £5 Adults, £3 Concessions (Students, O65 & Jobseeker’s) and U16’s go free; with Season Ticket Holders from both Southport and Everton receiving complimentary admission – to gain entry these fans just have to show their season ticket at the turnstile.
