An Evening Celebrating the Music of John Denver for Queenscourt Hospice

by
27th January 2015

The music of John Denver still brings joy to music lovers all over the world. We are absolutely delighted that on Thursday 19th February, local musician Chris Bannister will once again be performing a selection of music by John Denver in a concert supporting Queenscourt Hospice.

Taking place at the Ramada Hotel in Southport, the evening will feature some of Denver’s biggest hits, like “Annie’s Song,” “Take Me Home Country Roads,” “Rocky Mountain High,” and “Leavin on a Jet Plane.”

Chris is a very talented musician sounding incredibly like John Denver. For the last three years he has been invited to perform at the John Denver Convention in Aspen in Colorado, and has been endorsed for his performances by Steve Weisberg who was John Denver’s guitarist for six years.

This is the third year running that Chris has performed for Queenscourt Hospice and last year the events were a total sell out.  Tickets are just £15.00 each, include a hot pot supper and it’s guaranteed to be a great evening.

To book tickets  on-line please go to our website www.queenscourt.org.uk or alternatively for further information and tickets call the fundraising team on 01704 517420.  We hope to see you there.
